The Precious Moments 2026 collection has arrived
For more than four decades, Precious Moments has turned quiet, tender moments into porcelain keepsakes, and the 2026 Christmas collection carries that tradition forward. Whether you have decorated your tree with these teardrop-eyed figures for years or you are hanging your first one this season, the new releases are worth a close look, and the most sought-after pieces tend to sell out well before December.
This guide walks through what is new for 2026, why the annual dated ornaments matter so much to collectors, and how to make sure the pieces you add are authentic and safely reserved.
Why the annual and dated ornaments matter
The heart of any Precious Moments Christmas collection is the annual ornament. Each year brings a new dated design, and once that year passes, the piece is never made again. For collectors, that is the whole appeal: a 2026 dated ornament is a snapshot of this Christmas that you can hang every year afterward.
Dated pieces are also the ones most tied to family milestones, a baby's first Christmas, a first married Christmas, or simply the ornament that marks the year. Because they are produced only for the season, waiting too long usually means missing out, which is why so many collectors reserve them early.
Highlights of the 2026 Christmas collection
The 2026 line brings back the warmth collectors expect, with a nice mix of classic sentiment and playful new characters. A few pieces stand out.
The annual dated ornaments.
The season's dated keepsakes, including the annual Angel With Heart ornament, are the pieces to reserve first. These are the editions that define the year and disappear once it ends.
Christmas figurines with character.
New sculpts like the Girl With Cat and the charming Highland Cow bring a fresh, cozy feel to the classic Precious Moments style, perfect for a mantel or a curio shelf rather than the tree.
Keepsakes for couples and milestones.
Sentimental pieces such as "I Could Stay Lost In This Moment Forever" continue the line's tradition of marking love and togetherness, which makes them popular as gifts as much as collectibles.
Because release and shipping dates are staggered across the year, some 2026 pieces ship in the summer and others closer to the holidays, so it is worth checking the ship window on each piece as you plan.
How to start or grow your collection
If you are new to Precious Moments, the annual dated ornament is the natural starting point, then build outward with figurines that mark the people and moments that matter to you. Longtime collectors usually have a system already: reserve the dated pieces first, then add the character figurines and themed sets that fit their display.
Either way, the trick is the same. Decide early which 2026 pieces you want, reserve the dated editions before they sell out, and let the rest of the collection grow at your own pace.
