Halloween Shopping Near Houston and Katy: What Is Actually In the Store

Searching for Halloween decorations near Houston gets you two kinds of result. Big box stores with the same six items every other house on the street already has, and pop-up seasonal shops that sell out of anything decent by the first week of October. Neither is much help if you are looking for pieces that will still be worth putting out in five years.

We are a small collectibles store in Katy, west of Houston, and this is a straightforward guide to what is actually on our shelves, what is only available online, and when it is worth making the drive. No promises about a warehouse we do not have.

What is in the Katy store

The physical store carries seasonal figures. That means the Halloween range is on the floor from late summer through October, and the Christmas range takes over after that. It is a genuine seasonal rotation rather than a permanent showroom.

What it does not carry is the full catalog. We stock thousands of products across every brand line we carry, and no shop floor holds that. The store is where you see the season, and the website is where you find the rest.

Why that matters if you are driving in. If there is a specific piece you want, check that it is in stock before you set out, or call ahead. A piece marked as a pre-order online is not sitting on the floor in Katy, because it has not shipped from the maker yet.

Visiting

We are at 2750 FM 1463 Rd, Suite 150, Katy, TX 77494, which is a straightforward run west out of Houston.

Hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. We are closed on Sunday. The phone number is 1 (347) 526-5469, and calling ahead about a specific piece is always faster than hoping.

What to look for this season

Large display figures. The pieces that do the real work in a Halloween setup are the tall ones, from witches and nutcrackers up to figures over three feet. These are the items worth seeing in person, because photographs flatten scale and a 30 inch figure looks very different standing next to you.

Katherine's Collection. Gothic busts, character dolls and dessert display pieces. This is the brand for anyone whose Halloween leans elegant rather than gory.

Mark Roberts. Jeweled witches, skeletons and detailed seasonal pieces. Worth noting that Mark Roberts products may not be sold on any third party platform, so a marketplace listing is not coming through an authorized route.

Summerween. The pastel and candy side of Halloween, which has become its own category. Brighter, sweeter and increasingly what people put out in August rather than waiting for October.

Why collectors here buy on pre-order

Halloween collections are announced roughly a year ahead. The large display pieces are produced in limited quantities, and by the time the season arrives the best of them are gone. That is why serious buyers around Houston reserve in spring for the following autumn.

It is also why our Pre-Orders section is worth a look even in October. What is listed there is next year's range, and reserving early is the only reliable way to get a specific large piece.

If you cannot get to Katy

The full range is online and ships anywhere in the United States, with free shipping on orders over $50. In-stock items take 5 to 20 business days, since every piece is opened and inspected before it goes out rather than being forwarded in the box it arrived in. International orders run through our eBay store only, where the rates are calculated on weight and destination.

Worth browsing before you visit: Enchanting Halloween Decor, Summerween Decor, Katherine's Collection, Mark Roberts and In Stock Now for everything shipping this month.

Come and see the season

Halloween is the part of the year where seeing a piece in person genuinely changes what you buy, because scale and finish do not survive a product photo. Come by the Katy store during the season, or browse the Halloween range online and reserve what you want before the run sells through.

If you are decorating around a specific breed, our guide to Halloween dog decor covers the schnauzer and Pomeranian pieces in detail.

Christmas Ornament Pre-Orders: The 2026 Guide

Every year, someone contacts us in early December looking for that year's dated ornament, and every year we have to explain that it sold out in September. It is the single most common disappointment in ornament collecting, and it is entirely avoidable.

Halloween Collectibles 2026: A Collector's Guide

Halloween decorating splits into two camps. There is the box of things you buy in September and throw out in November, and there is the collection you unpack every year and add one piece to. This guide is for the second camp, where the pieces have names, the artists have followings, and the good designs are gone before the season starts.

Finding a Christmas store near Houston that is worth the trip

This guide walks through what separates a great Christmas store from an average one, what to look for as you plan your 2026 holiday decor, and where collectors in the Houston area can find new and trending pieces without driving all over Texas. Right in Katy, just west of Houston, that is where Enchanting Unboxing comes in.
